Chiesa Sant' Andrea Apostolo

catholic_church.png
In the historic center of Brunate, in Lombardy, you can visit the parish church dedicated to the cult of Sant’Andrea Apostolo. It is a beautiful church originally built in the fourteenth century and has undergone few changes over the centuries, until 1914 when it was further expanded following the demolition of the nearby monastery that had been built to house an order of minor friars. Inside the building there are also the relics of Maddalena Albrici that are the object of worship by the Catholic faithful. In addition to this to see is also the beautiful pipe organ made in 1827 and installed in the same year inside the church. The instrument is still fully functional today.
