Holy Trinity Monastery Cathedral

Holy Trinity Monastery, located at 1407 Robinson Rd. Jordanville, NY 13361 is a male religious community of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad, rooted in traditional practices. Established by monks from the Pochaev Lavra in Western Ukraine after the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution, it follows the mission of St. Job by publishing educational books for the faithful. The monastery houses a studio and school for Russian iconography led by Fr. Cyprian's followers, and Holy Trinity Orthodox Seminary trains young men globally for priesthood. Our monastery's architecture and spiritual life nourish the Orthodox Church.

When Fr. Panteleimon settled at Holy Trinity Monastery, he began building a large house with rooms for the monastery and its own church. With help from four new brothers, including Bishop Vitaly, progress was slow. By 1935, the house and church were completed.

The Cathedral, designed by architect Roman Verkhovsky in the style of Northern Russia's tented-roof churches, began construction in 1946. The lower Church was completed in 1947 and consecrated on November 14, 1948. The interior decoration was finished by autumn 1950, with the great consecration on November 26, 1950.

Off to the lower right-hand side of the cathedral is a small prayer room.

This chapel (Saint of Pochaev Church) is located underneath the cathedral. The room houses many religious icons and relics

Abbot Luke Murianka (current abbot) and clerics blessed the new cemetery, seeking God's blessing for the grounds and peace for the deceased. The monastery prays for the spiritual peace of all.
