St. John’s in-the-wilderness Episcopal church was founded in 1880 (June 23, 1880 - the cornerstone was laid).
St. Joseph and Michael Church
The original stained glass windows reflect the German origins of the parish, which was founded as St. Joseph’s in 1889 to accommodate the overflow from the huge Passionist St. Michael’s Monastery nearby. When the Passionists closed St. Michael’s in 1982, St. Joseph took on St. Michael’s name as well. (Source)

Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception
On September 8, 2019, the Diocese of Portland will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the dedication of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland, the mother church of the diocese. St. Dominic Parish celebrated the 100th Anniversary of its founding on October 9, 1930 and the 150th Anniversary on November 2, 1980.
